Everyone's entitled to an opinion.

I like to write about my travels, and random things around me.

Taste of Taiwan

With roots from the Fujian province of China and raised in the Philippines, Taiwan has always been close to my heart because of the closeness I share with the island's culture, especially when it comes to language and food. Previously a part of Fujian province, Taiwan became the Republic of China in 1949 after the Chinese Communist Party took over mainland China.

Today I had lunch with Allen Wang, a good friend of mine who is from Taiwan. The topic of our favorite Taiwanese dishes came up, and I remembered coming up with a never-ending list of dishes and restaurants, mostly desserts and street food!
